Underhand pulldowns! This was usually second in my back routine where the biceps came into play for a pulling exercise. I did underhand pulldowns on the lat pulldown station and eventually performed them on the Hammer Strength underhand pulldown machine… either is fine to use. The hand placement is just closer than shoulder width and pull with your elbows, drive them into your lats and hold for a second with a slow negative. @dynutrition @m13gym #MrOlympia #Bodybuilding #Training #Gym #Back #Advice
So, yeah, why am I doing this and I'm not doing this? Because this, it's a very short range of motion. Also, I'm putting the biceps in a weaker position. So if I go here, much bigger range of motion, biceps in a better position. You don't ever, ever need to do this fucking exercise. It's a waste of time. Put your hands here.
Here’s a clip I came across from well over 10 years back and my thoughts haven’t changed. I was holding a training seminar and got asked about upright rows, I’ve never done them and don’t recommend them, same with lunges. With lunges, I’d like to mention that I’m speaking entirely from a bodybuilding point of view, it’s not that lunges are totally useless for a combination of balance/mobility etc, but as a bodybuilding exercise I think they are. #MrOlympia #Bodybuilding #Gym #Training #Exercises
Never done upright rows, just a silly exercise. Silly, silly exercises. Why? You know? What is it? Is it a bit of biceps? Is it a bit of traps? Is it a bit of delts? It's like a nothing exercise. Upright rows and lunges, silly exercises, never done them. Waste of time.
I do this type of cardio roughly twice a week, and believe me it’s tough! It’s all out effort, everything you got for just 20 seconds… but that 20 seconds feels like 20 minutes! I usually get to 1200-1300 watt output, try it out. #MrOlympia #Bodybuilding #Cardio #Training
six minutes like on an air bike. It's my favorite because it engages every muscle push pull legs. If you do a 20 second all out you got on the side of the thing can see how much watch your generator. So now you have a target to hit or exceed every time. So do a minute minute and a half warm up whatever feel warm all out balls out like the
A gym in my opinion is where you do some hard work! Temple Gym, was a proper, old-school bodybuilding gym. It was a ‘spit and sawdust’ gym, if you didn’t like it, then you didn’t train there, simple as. You could sweat, spit and scream… whatever you had to do… as long as you cleaned up and put your weights back after. It wasn’t fancy - anyone who’s been knows what it was like and what to expect. We were there to train… #MrOlympia #Bodybuilding #Gym #Training #Motivation
Eu já estive na gym, e todo mundo na gym parece que eles não vão para a gym. É o que é. O que você está fazendo lá, pessoal? Um pouco de cardio, talvez? Não sei. É diferente do meu dia, sabe? É tipo, eu não sei, você é um jovem, eu e você somos amigos. Eu quero ver se eu posso levantar mais peso do que você, e aí você tem outro amigo. É tipo isso. É esse tipo de...
It’s all about the intensity. Rather than doing 10 sets of crappy effort on an exercise, just try 1 set to true failure per exercise (obviously after a sufficient warm up) and I mean to absolute muscular failure… It sounds simple, because it is! It does not need to be overly complicated… #MrOlympia #Bodybuilding #Gym #Training
