Hey, hey, you mind giving me a spot, bro? Oh yeah, absolutely. What are we hitting? No, appreciate it. Just doing some squat. Oh, hell yeah. How many we going for? Uh, 10. Oh, 10. Easy money. Let's go. Appreciate you, bro. Yeah. Let's go. Nine. Yeah, baby. Three more reps. You said we only going to do 10. No, three more reps. Let's go, baby. I got you. Trust me. Thank you. Yeah, baby.

⚔️ Cable curl vs db curl 😤 ❇️ When it comes to mechanical tension, force distribution, and the strength curve, this variation has a major edge over your standard standing dumbbell curl. Here’s why: 🔹 Consistent Resistance Throughout the Entire ROM – Unlike a dumbbell curl, where resistance drops off at the bottom (due to gravity providing minimal tension when the arm is fully extended), a mid-height cable setup ensures tension is present from full stretch to peak contraction. This means higher total work done by the biceps in each rep. 🔹 Maximal Force Production in the Lengthened Position – Research shows that muscles generate the most force in a stretched position under load. Since the biceps are most mechanically advantaged in slight shoulder flexion (as in the start of this curl), this setup increases force output right where it matters most—at the beginning of the lift, where hypertrophy signaling is strongest. 🔹 More Even Strength Curve – Dumbbells rely on gravity, which means peak resistance occurs around 90 degrees of elbow flexion and drops off before and after. The cable’s constant tension ensures a more even strength curve, keeping force high through both mid and fully shortened ranges. 🔹 Eliminates Momentum, Maximizes Output – The bent-over positioning locks the torso in place, removing body sway and excessive shoulder involvement, leading to pure biceps tension. This isn’t just another curl—it’s a biomechanically superior way to load your biceps through their strongest force-producing ranges. Want bigger arms? Make the switch. ‼️ FOR 1:1 COACHING WITH ME 💭 comment ‘coach’ and I’ll DM YOU TO APPLY‼️ #Biceps #CableCurls #Hypertrophy #MechanicalTension #StrengthCurve #Biomechanics #MuscleGrowth
↗️ Optimize your tricep training 📈 ❌ cable push downs ➡️ incline bench push downs ✅ vector of force comes from behind you maximizing tension in the stretched position, inhibits use of momentum, allows for increased tension in eccentric phase, reduces utilization of rear delts ℹ️ form queues; keep elbows tucked and reach as high up towards your chin to maximize stretch and motor recruitment, drag bar right up your belly on the eccentric to maximize tension, control the concentric and squeeze at the bottom ❌ db overhead ➡️ incline bench cable overhead ✅ vector of force comes from behind maximizing tension in the stretched position and allows for tension to remain in contracted position (as compared to db where joint is stacked), inhibits use of momentum, allows for increased tension in eccentric phase, reduces trap engagement ℹ️ form queues; keep elbows tucked and reach as far behind you as possible to maximize stretch, pick a weight that doesn’t cause shoulder discomfort, focus on eccentric loading and pausing in the stretched position ❌ close grip push ups ➡️ JM presses ✅ customization of load as compared to pushups (ability to progressive overload), bigger stretch and ROM, less chest recruitment ℹ️ form queues; elbows tight, place your body on the bench so bar meets upper chest/neck in the bottom position, focus on eccentric and pausing in stretched position ‼️ Main takeaways; 1️⃣ the original exercises ARE NOT INHERENTLY BAD OR INEFFECTIVE. This is for intermediate/advanced lifters looking for some added novelty/efficiency to their workouts. 2️⃣ I’m always going to choose exercises where I can optimally target the desired tissue with additional stretch, optimal force curves, and ability to minimize ancillary movers. The more traditional exercises are TREMENDOUS when performed correctly with proper ROM and TUT. 💊 For the best supplements on the market, check out @htltsupps And get our latest formulation of pre workout (3.0), my favorite pump product I’ve ever used (Pre-Pump) and Perilight for eaa’s and electrolytes. 🏋️♀️ For 1:1 coaching, link in bio 📲 #tricepworkout #workout #fitness #gym #bodybuilding
