I’m committed to bringing down my screen time this year but I know I need to be reachable in case of emergency. Also, living out my nostalgic 90s dream is very important to me. YES it takes FaceTime Audio and WhatsApp calls. YES it works with Android NO, you will not know who’s calling. Like the olden days. YES they are the coolest cutest things ever. I made this landline phone that connects to your iPhone via Bluetooth so that if somebody calls you, it actually starts ringing and you can pick it up. See? I talked about this in my last video about spending less time on my phone and having no phone warnings. People went crazy over it, so I decided to make a few. Oh, and one more thing. On any of the physical phones, if you pick it up and you press stop,
It never ceases to amaze me how kids can FEEL tech shifts coming from a mile away. They don’t rely on studies or hard facts… their evidence is their bodies. They feel the change. We ought to listen to them more. #ai #aiandsociety
I think if we were smarter, we would listen to 13-year-olds more. I study AI, specifically AI's impact on society. Recently, I interviewed a series of students and teachers from high school to college. And what I heard from them is so different from the story that I hear when we talk about AI in the corporate world or on Wall Street.
