This is what designing a home will look like in the future. These are called Lifesize Floor Plans. This company rents a giant warehouse and projects a 1:1 scale, lifesize floor plan so you can walkthrough your home before you build it. Aptly, the Australian company that invented it is named Lifesize Plans. In addition to the projected floor plan on the ground, the company brings in real furniture and even drywall to help simulate what the finished structure will look like. In the future, with AI, their software will become more sophisticated and allow for real-time modular changes on the fly. And that’s cool, but here’s why it’s even interesting... The underlying business is a cash cow. The Australian test concept store did $1.1M in revenue and all they had to pay for was warehouse rent, utilities, and a single operator. They were running at ~90% gross margin. They charge $1100 for an hour session and are sold out every day. I think a home builder, real estate developer or construction company could bring this to the US and absolutely crush. My favorite thing to do is find rabbit holes that cover the intersection of tech and business. This one was tailor made for that! #tech #realestate #interiordesign #interiordecor #homebuilder #technology #newtechnology #construction
Check this out. These are called life-size floor plans. You can literally walk through your exact home design before you build it. And I think this is the future of how people are going to build their homes. Now the company that created this is called Life Size Plans in Australia. They have this huge warehouse and then they use a projector on the ceiling to beam your floor plan onto the ground at a one-to-one scale.
This company lets you order sunlight from an app. Wild. It’s like Uber Eats for the Sun. The company is called Reflect Orbital. These two guys figured out if they launch reflective satellites and position them in just the right constellation, at just the right angle, they can beam sunlight to any spot on Earth. Pretty nuts. The original purpose for building the company was to power solar farms at night. And it makes sense... The sun is a giant nuclear reactor that never turns off. So if you can just bounce the light from a space mirror to the dark side of the Earth, you can illuminate it. But here’s the craziest part... Reflect is starting to take customer orders starting in Q4 of 2025. So you can buy a 3 mile circle of light coverage in 4 minute chunks for anywhere in the world. Imagine lighting up all of lower Manhattan in a single tap?! As I was researching this, I couldn’t help but think how perfect this would be for the natural disasters we’ve seen in North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida with Helene/Milton. In theory, this is the perfect storm survival tool. It could help spotlight people that are stranded to aid in rescues or power up solar generators all from the sky. Reflect should be going live with this system sometime in 2025. Science rules. If you run a company and wanna learn how to tell video stories like this, I made a free 5 day series breaking down my full viral formula. Comment “viral” and I’ll DM it over #science #space #spacetech #spacex #tech #technology #ai #satellite #earth
Check this out. This company lets you order sunlight on demand. It's like Uber eats for the sun. You just press a button and this company beams sunlight down to you. But that's not even the craziest part. The craziest part is how it all works. This company is called Reflect Orbital and they launch satellites into space that have reflective mirrors. They figured out that in the right constellation and just the right angle, they can reflect

This Russian engineer built a real-life Ironman suit in his garage. It’s the most movie accurate functional suit ever built. But here’s the crazy part... He’s been documenting the full 6 year journey on YouTube. This is Alex...he publishes videos to his channel, Alex Labs. Over the past 6 years, he’s gone on a journey to recreate Tony Stark’s famous Ironman suit from the movies. To make the suit work as accurately as possible, he’s invented several things along the way. First, to power the suit, he created the world’s first personal hydrogen reactor. This alone, if true, is pretty mindblowing. He also devised a pneumatics system to control the suit so that when he flexes, it flexes. As you’ll see in the video, he’s included a plasma propulsion system to make the jet thrusters and cutters fully functional as well. I wanted to make a video about this because a) Ironman is one of my favorite movies and b) this is a perfect example of why I love the internet. Alex is expected to debut the full suit on his channel soon, make sure to check it out. And if you liked this video, I find cool new tech products and explain why they’re interesting so make sure to follow! If you are building a brand and want to learn how to tell better content stories like this, comment “storytelling” and I’ll DM you free content newsletter where I share all my tips & frameworks. #tech #technology #ironman #marvel #robot #robotics #tonystark #robots #ai
This is the most insane tech company in the world...ASML. Every single computer chip on Earth is made using their machines. Nvidia, Apple, Intel, Samsung…none of them can make any chips without ASML. But here’s the craziest part, the way these machines work is completely mindblowing. This is how computer chips are actually made… First, the ASML machine fires tiny droplets of molten tin. 50,000 droplets per second…each one thinner than a human hair. They then shoot a laser at each individual droplet, which vaporizes the tin into a plasma. That plasma…is hotter than the surface of the sun. It’s so hot, that when the plasma is created, it also emits extreme UV light. The ASML machine guides that light through a series of hyper precise mirrors to beam it on a stencil which has the pattern for the chip. That pattern is then projected onto a thin slice of silicon that’s coated with special light reactive chemicals…essentially using the light to print the pattern onto the silicon. The machine then repeats this light printing process thousands of times, to build layer upon layer of silicon that stacks together to create a fully functional chip. Now here’s where it gets wild… These chip designs are super intricate…billions of transistors spaced only a few atoms apart. And that means the accuracy of the ASML machines are the equivalent of shooting a laser from the moon and hitting a penny on Earth. How insane is that? So in layman’s terms, the process to make a computer chip is vaporizing molten tin to create invisible light that beams atomic patterns onto thousands of layers of silicon. Shoutout science.
