More than 80% of people are ‘𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱’? 👀 In my conversation with body language expert @vvanedwards today, Vanessa explains what an ambivert is and how the majority of people may not even know it? After watching this, would you say you’re an ambivert? Comment ‘Me’ & I’ll personally DM you our full conversation 🙌🏾
What's an ambivert? Ambivert is in between introvert and extrovert, and research shows that more than 80% of people are probably ambiverted, not introverted or extroverted. So introverts get energy from being alone. Extroverts get energy from being with people. Ambiverts get energy around being the right people.
Comment ‘Martha’ and I’ll personally DM you our conversation! This week on The Diary of a CEO, I sit down with Dr Martha Beck(@themarthabeck)—Harvard-trained sociologist, renowned life coach, and the woman @oprah called “one of the smartest women she knows.” Her life has been anything but ordinary. She was forced to face the trauma of s3xual abuse at the hands of her father—one of the Mormon Church’s highest authorities. Martha shared with me how confronting her trauma and speaking the truth stopped her physical pain. In this conversation, we cover: - Why anxiety is often the root of our physical pain. - How our bodies expose lies when our minds can’t. - The moment she saw “the light” during surgery. - How she nearly died so she stopped lying? - Being labelled “worse than a murderer” for speaking her truth. and so much more! I was blown away by Martha’s insights in this episode, especially her tricks to uncover how our bodies expose the lies our minds believe. By understanding the connection between the mind and body, we can learn to listen to anxiety as a signal. You’ll never think of anxiety in the same way again. When we lie, our bodies get very weak. For example, stick your arm out and say, "I love fresh air." I love fresh air. Now, I want you to do that while lying. And the lie I'd like you to say is, "I love to vomit." Say it. I love to vomit. That's so weird. Now say, "I love fresh air." I love fresh air. Now say, "I love to vomit."
Comment ‘AI’ and I’ll personally DM you the full conversation. This is the first Nobel Prize winner that I’ve ever had a conversation with. Please welcome Geoffrey Hinton, aka The Godfather of AI, to The Diary Of A CEO - what an honour this is! He’s the man who laid the foundations for the very technology that’s now changing our world at a pace we can barely comprehend. But today, he explains what scares him most about the very technology he helped create… We covered: - How a human using AI will take your job… - Why AI’s will be more creative than us? - How he created AI but didn’t know it’s danger! - What jobs won’t exist in 24 months?! - The 6 deadly risks of AI. And so much more. He’s now turned this season in his life to shining a light on some of his own work, but also on the broader risks of AI and how it might impact us adversely. There’s very few people that have worked inside machine of a Google or a big tech company that have contributed to the field of AI that are now at the very forefront of warning us against the very thing that they worked upon there. What struck me most wasn’t just Geoffrey’s technical brilliance, it was his humility. His honesty in admitting he once didn’t fully grasp the dangers, and his conviction in sounding the alarm now even if it means confronting the industry he helped create. This episode is not about fear. It’s about facing reality with eyes wide open. Watch the full episode now on YouTube: search “The Diary Of A CEO Geoffrey Hinton”
They call you the godfather of AI, so what would you be saying to people about their career prospects in a world of superintelligence? Trained to be a plumber. Really? Yeah. Okay, I'm gonna become a plumber. Why do they call you the godfather of AI? Because there weren't many people who believed that we could model AI on the brain so that it learned to do complicated things like recognize objects.
Comment ‘William’ and I’ll personally DM you the full conversation! You’ve probably never heard of angiogenesis. I hadn’t either, until this conversation and now I can’t stop thinking about it. Today’s guest on DOAC is @drwilliamli who is one of the world’s leading medical scientists. He’s helped develop 44 treatments for diseases like cancer, blindness, and heart disease but his most revolutionary idea is this that you don’t need to wait until you’re sick to start healing. In fact, your body already knows how to heal itself - you just need to stop getting in its way. We spoke about the power of angiogenesis. For those who don’t know, angiogenesis is the system your body uses to grow blood vessels. It’s what allows wounds to heal, organs to regenerate, and blood to flow where it’s needed. It’s also the system that can feed cancer, grow fat, and cause deadly disease when it goes unchecked. This is not another diet conversation. William tests food the same way he tests cancer drugs and in doing so, he’s found over 150 foods that help the body heal itself. Foods that literally block cancer, shrink fat, and regenerate tissue using your body’s own stem cells. We cover: - How he thinks you can reverse stage 4 cancer. - How salt is making you older?! - Debunking fasting myths. - The shocking truth about ultra processed foods. - Why you’re not losing belly fat… And more. We also talk about his mother who was diagnosed with cancer at 80 years old and how food helped immunotherapy completely erase her cancer in just nine weeks! This episode gave me a new lens on health, nutrition and ageing and I think it will do the same for you. Watch the full episode now on YouTube: search “The Diary of a CEO Dr William Li”
I've had patients go from stage four cancer to stage zero. So I have now seen where the end of cancer is coming from. I've seen how the war is going to finish. And here's how. I'm going to give you a brand new view of thinking about cancer. And this is shocking to some people to hear, but every 24 hours there are 10,000 mistakes that are made
During today’s run it dawned on me how sorely I’m going to miss my health, mobility and strength when it’s all gone. Our health is a temporary loan. There really is no greater expression of gratitude than taking care of it. And the things we express gratitude for tend to stick around a little bit longer. ——— Audio taken from my conversation with @robertgreeneofficial on @thediaryofaceopodcast 📹: @btswithwill
I read that it was a bee sting that caused a clot that caused the stroke. The left side of my body is basically paralyzed. Can't swim, can't mountain bike, can't hike, I can't type for a rider that's not much fun. The frustration
