The biggest mistake on bicep curls that you might not even notice is curling the wrist on the concentric. Ideally, you want to keep the wrist neutral or even slightly go into extension as you curl. #fitness #gym

The rope tricep pushdown is probably one of the most popular tricep exercises but there’s a lot of common mistakes that prevent lifters from biasing the triceps as best as they can. Here’s 3 cues to remember: 1) if you’re shorter lower the cable pulley to forehead height 2) keep your shoulders back by the side of your body. The only movement should be the extension of your elbow 3) take a small half-step back for better comfort

A lot of people are shocked when I tell them that I only weight 135lbs / 61kg ... now keep in mind I’m genetically quite light = narrow clavicle, skinny wrist / ankles, 28in waist jeans; and I know there are many others like me who unfortunately are pressured into fixating on not being “victim weight” But, you can say I’m living proof that you don’t need to be the weight society tells you a man should be in order to build a healthy and aesthetic physique. Carter extensions are basically single arm Tricep Pushdowns with your upper arm resting on the cable tower so your shoulder joint is more stable. What you end up with is almost the equivalent of a preacher curl but for triceps. Probably the most stable triceps exercise you can do (at least with cables)
If you have a weak bench press, one place to look is what your feet are doing. Ideally you want your knees bent, your feet firmly on the ground, or the toes pressed into the ground, in order to use leg drive on the movement. You shouldn’t be thrusting into the air when you’re bench pressing. Leg drive should feel like sliding your feet to the ground without actually moving it.
