The road to Venice begins here. A philosophy of form, function and feeling. Lord Norman Foster doesn’t just shape buildings – he shapes the way we live. In Venice, Porsche and the Norman Foster Foundation explore the mindset behind lasting design.
So I have a restless curiosity about what mobility might be in the future. Porsche was always a very good combination of functionality and aesthetics. It's very, let's say, close to my own heart.
A bridge between dream and reality. The Art of Dreams has delved into the world of architecture, opening a new conversation about the future of mobility. Together with the Norman Foster Foundation, Porsche imagined Gateway to Venice’s Waterway as both structure and story: a kinetic sculpture, a bridge and a blueprint for the future of cities. Student projects from the Porsche Design Studio joined the conversation, offering fresh, tangible ideas for how we might move through the cities of tomorrow.
Venice is in many ways a model for the future. But there are lessons for the future, a future where mobility is quieter, where it's cleaner.
