So today we're talking about how to get this shot. So my last video contained a freeze frame shot similar to this one and I had tons of people asking me how to make it so let's get into it. Make sure you're filming in a high frame rate such as 50 or even 100 FPS so that when you hit freeze the frame won't be blurry. It's how to f*ck up your storytelling in less than 60 seconds. Your script should look something like this. Hook, context, conflict, turning point, resolution. The easiest way to ruin your video is by not including at least one of these three things in your hook. A time frame number or statistic, a transformation of before and after, or an open loop. How to get reaaaally good at storytelling 👇🏻 1. Write a mantra that all your videos point back to, so they’re all in some way driving towards the same message 2. Study up - learn from other creators who are really good at storytelling, follow them and make notes! 3. Learn what makes a good script - comment “SCRIPT” if you want to save yourself some time… 4. Focus on improving bit by bit focusing on the following IN THIS ORDER: Talking to the camera (very important), more engaging captions, using music for better emotional delivery, and then sound design 😮💨 At least, that’s what I would do… #storytelling #creatortips #scriptwriting #filmmakerboost #storytellingbrand
Here's what I would do if I had to rebuild my storytelling account from scratch. Firstly, I'd start with a mantra. My first videos didn't have a clear message or a followable goal, but followers started coming in thick and fast when I wrote myself one mantra that all videos have to point back to. But I wouldn't even bother to write a mantra before studying the game. The biggest mistake I made with my own account was
I used to hate editing… But I learned a few tricks that now make me ACTUALLY enjoy it. 1. B-roll blasts (or flash cuts) to add some dynamic energy. 2. Changing music to keep the story moving forward at each section 3. Using sound design to immerse each clip and make it sound criisspppyyy Send this to someone who’s editing, uh.. needs some work 🫣 Follow for more storytelling content tips!

Post less, grow more 👇🏻 In 136 days, I only posted 24 times and gained over 40k followers… because my videos take me 2-3 days to finish, and life keeps going. It made me realise that quality does beat quantity, even if we’re told that quantity is more important on here… So take your time, focus on you and do what you need to do to do it long term 🙌🏻 Hope this helps!
Consistency doesn't mean posting more. In fact, I'm going to show you why you should start posting less. Between the months of August and January, that's 136 days, I gained over 40,000 followers with only 24 posts. That works out around one to two posts per week, which is way less than we're told to upload. In that time I watch creators around me uploading new videos every day
