Happy 10 years of one of the greatest dance music songs ever made (and 10 years of ‘Bloom’ in January) @rufusdusol The vocal was actually @tyronelindqvist’s first take and he said he tried to re-record it about 90 other times but wasn’t able to top it. I’m so cooked from Red Rocks that it took me a little to believe this was real when I saw it last night As part of @becausemusic’s 20th anniversary show in Paris on Saturday night, @thomasbangalter came out with @fredagainagainagainagainagain during Busy P (Pedro Winter / cc @edbanger ) and @erolalkan’s set This was Thomas’ first public DJ set since Busy P’s birthday party in 2009 and Thomas told Fred that this was his first proper set without the Daft Punk helmet in 24 years Thomas also said Pompidou Centre was the place he fell in love with electronic music in 1992. @skrillex’s weekend trip to South America continued last night with his stop at @lollapaloozacl and it was insane. Chileans waited 10 years to have Skrillex back in their country and they made sure to show him all the love. We watched the entire livestream and could feel the crowd moving through the screen. Flares were going off in the crowd 15 minutes into the set and the show actually had to get stopped for a minute after he played “Bangarang.” Truly wild energy coming from his South American fans, we definitely need to experience a crowd like that soon. #edm #lollapalooza #skrillex #bangarang #dancingastronaut
