They were preparing everyone for very real possibilities, like what you see in this video from Oxford, MS. Over a million people lost power along this storm’s path. Current power outages in Carolinas: • Carolinas: 45,800 customers (943 active outages) • Charlotte area: ~3,500 without power Only a small chance of another short span of additional freezing rain tonight — the storm is mostly done. The roads are still very slick so be careful! We are very fortunate 🙏
