WHAT WE ORDERED: A combo from the app’s DashMart that came with fried chicken ice cream from Charleston-based life.raft.treats, a cookie from @appcookieco and, of course, a @drinkcheerwine. COST: $14.99. DoorDash is waiving drone delivery fees right now. HOW IT WORKS: The drone took less than 10 minutes to travel from its nest at @shoparboretumnc to a south Charlotte home, about a five-minute car drive. 🎤 RAISE UP: North Carolina senators are proposing that the state adopt @bigpoppapetey’s “Raise Up” as its official state hip-hop song. WHY IT MATTERS: If passed, “Raise Up” would earn the same official recognition as the dogwood flower (state flower) and cardinal (state bird).
